Along with this <a href=\"http:\/\/www.novell.com\/video\/desktop\/\">are some preview videos<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I like what they've done with the main application starter menu, but I also like what <a href=\"http:\/\/beatnik.infogami.com\/Gimmie\">Gimmie<\/a> is doing in this area. Check out Alex Graveley's <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beatniksoftware.com\/gimmie\/Guadec06Slides2.pdf\">Gimmie GUADEC slides<\/a> for some idea of the direction that launch panels might be going. If it gets combined with <a href=\"http:\/\/macslow.thepimp.net\/?p=61\">MacSlow's Cairo dock<\/a>, we could see some excellent GNOME app launch\/management lovin'.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Ubuntu fits snugly on one CD. Why does SLED need five?
